The An-148 is a family of regional aircraft designed for the carriage of passengers on domestic and international airlines. The designer is Antonov Design Bureau based in Kiev, Ukraine.

Production of the An-148-100 has been arranged at PJSC VASO based in Voronezh, Russia, under the designer’s license. The An-148-100 currently meets all of the effective requirements of international aviation authorities in terms of flight safety and navigation precision performance. The airplane is in compliance with ICAO Annex 16 Chapter IV requirements for aircraft noise and ICAO Annex 16 Vol. II for aircraft engine emissions; it is certified according to AP-25 Aviation Regulations subject to EASA certification standards (CS-25).

The maintenance concept for the An-148-100 is based on continuing compliance with international standards (ICAO, MSG-3) and ensures continuing airworthiness throughout its lifecycle.
Passenger comfort is comparable to that offered by long-haul aircraft thanks to the rational layout and composition of servicing compartments, the in-depth ergonomic optimization of general and individual space in the passenger cabin, the use of modern seats, interior design and materials, as well as the comfortable environment provided by the air-conditioning system and low noise levels.
