Today, during the first day of the Airshow China international airshow held in Zhuhai, China, UAC presented its annual Market Outlook for the next 20 years. According to the forecast, UAC estimates the total demand for new passenger aircraft with more than 30 seats in 2018-2037 to exceed 43.6 thousand aircraft worth over US$6 trillion in 2018 catalogue prices.

10 September 2018 Aeroflot and UAC sign agreement for 100 Superjet 100 aicraft

10 September 2018, Moscow – Aeroflot and the United Aircraft Corporation have signed an agreement for delivery to Aeroflot, the national carrier, of 100 Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft. The document was signed by Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev and UAC President Yury Slyusar during the Eastern Economic Forum in the presence of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

On July 31, China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Corporation (CRAIC) owned by United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC “UAC”) and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) issued a request for proposal (RFP) to the potential suppliers of landing gear system for the program of wide-body long-range aircraft CR929. The list of potential candidates includes companies from Russia China and Europe.
8 June 2018 PJSC UAC and COMAC Approved the General Layout of CR929 Aircraft

On 6 June United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC UAC) and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) approved the general layout of CR929 long-range wide-body aircraft. The parties agreed as to the aircraft principal geometry – wing span and shape, fuselage length, fuselage nose and tail section dimensions, aircraft fins sizing and form, location of engines, landing gear and doors. The above is the result of efforts undertaken by JET-team, the joint Sino-Russian engineering team headed by CR929 chief designers Maxim Litvinov (representing the Russian side) and Chen Yingchun (representing the Chinese side).

On May, 30 China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Corporation (CRAIC) has received answers to previously distributed RFPs from 7 potential suppliers of Power Propulsion Systems (PPS) for long-range wide-body CR929 aircraft. These 7 potential PPS suppliers include companies from Russia, China, USA and Europe.
