JSC “UAC” announces new assignments to UAC top management. Victor Livanov is appointed UAC Vice-president on Transport Aviation; Igor Shevchuk has taken a position of UAC Vice-president on Long-Range (Strategic) Aviation; Oleg Demchenko will head the MS-21 Project as UAC Vice-president.
As a UAC Vice-president, V. Livanov will lead the Corporation’s activities in transport aviation development and coordinate work between UAC and its Transport Aviation business-unit. Mr. Livanov will also remain UAC Executive Board Member and General Director of JSC MAK Ilyushin, should be reorganized into JSC “UAC – Transport Aircraft” business-unit in the nearest future.
Igor Shevchuk as a UAC Vice-president will be responsible for current strategic and special aircraft manufacturing programs, as well as for further development of this line of business of the Corporation. Mr. Shevchuk will also keep his position of UAC Executive Board Member and President of JSC Tupolev – the main enterprise for strategic aviation development.
Irkut Corporation President Oleg Demchenko as a UAC Vice-president on MS-21 Project will head the process of the aircraft development and manufacturing. MS-21 is the most significant UAC’s project aiming to strengthen the Corporation’s position among international aircraft building companies. Mr. Demchenko will also remain UAC Executive Board Member and will lead Irkut Corporation, the corporation leading the MS-21 Project.
